Dr. Hui Yuan is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Physics Institute, Goethe University Frankfurt am Main, Germany, where she has been working since November 2022. She earned her Doctor of Natural Science from the same institution (2017–2022), graduating with Summa Cum Laude/With Distinction. She holds a Master of Science (2013–2016) and a Bachelor of Science (2009–2013) from the Beijing Institute of Technology, China, both in the School of Optoelectronics. Her research focuses on THz imaging and functional devices, and she has been involved in several funded projects, including DFG-funded research on 3D THz Fourier imaging and on-chip antennas for THz systems, as well as a LOEWE project on THz and IR nanospectroscopy. Dr. Yuan has published extensively in journals such as Applied Optics, Optics Express, APL Photonics, and IEEE Transactions on Terahertz Science and Technology. She was an invited keynote speaker at IRMMW 2023 and serves as a reviewer for several leading journals, including Optics Letters, Optics Express, Scientific Reports, APL Photonics, and Optics Continuum. She also supervises graduate students and manages the Electrical THz Lab and Optical Lab at Goethe University.
