2025 2nd China-Europe Scientists Forum & 7th AIAM 2025 has been successfully held in Heidelberg, Germany during October 31-November 2, 2025.

The 2025 2nd China-Europe Scientists Forum was successfully held from October 31 to November 2, 2025, at the the Burgerhaus HeidelBERG in Heidelberg, Germany. The forum adopted a "main forum + six offline parallel forums + multiple online events" format, featuring over 90 thematic reports and roundtable discussions. These sessions covered cutting-edge fields including artificial intelligence and advanced manufacturing, ICT transformation, clinical medicine, carbon neutrality & new energy, complex systems, and smart cities & design. The event attracted nearly 300 scientists, industry representatives, and young scholars from China and Europe for on-site participation, with online live streams reaching approximately 80,000 viewers.

The 7th International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Manufacturing (AIAM 2025) was jointly organized by Overseas Chinese Science and Technology Innovation Alliance and Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI), In Associated with China-Europe Scientists Forum, Hangzhou Institute of Technology, Xidian University, China, Huzhou University, China, International Artificial Intelligence Industry Alliance (AIIA) and International Association of Applied Science and Technology (IAAST). 

As a parallel forum of the 2nd China-Europe Scientists Forum, AIAM 2025 brought together academicians and renowned scholars from the UK, France, Spain, Hungary, Greece, Canada, and other countries to share the latest advancements and trends in artificial intelligence. The conference focused on interdisciplinary areas such as biomedicine, digital twins, robotics, and resilient manufacturing, exploring innovative applications of AI and providing new perspectives for scientific integration and technological breakthroughs.

The conference was co-chaired by Prof. Linhua Jiang, Executive Chair of China-Europe Scientists Forum, Overseas Chinese Science and Technology Innovation Alliance, National Academy of Sciences of Plurinational State of Bolivia, and Prof. Huiyu Zhou from the University of Leicester, UK. In the opening session, they reviewed the achievements of previous conferences, detailed the preparations for this year's event, and extended a warm welcome to scholars from all over the world. They also expressed sincere gratitude to all experts, scholars, and partner institutions who supported the conference.

Prof. Fuchun Sun of Tsinghua University, China, sent a video congratulations to the forum on behalf of the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI), congratulating the forum and encouraging participants to engage in in-depth discussions to jointly advance technological innovation in AI and advanced manufacturing. He emphasized the importance of contributing wisdom and strength to China-Europe scientific collaboration and wished the 2025 2nd China-Europe Scientists Forum a complete success.

The keynote speeched session featured 14 distinguished scholars from leading universities and research institutions worldwide, who shared insights into Artificial Intelligence research and applications across multiple frontier fields.

Prof. Nuria Lloret, Vice-Dean of the Innovation Academy, Universitat Politècnica de València, Spain, delivered a speech on From Data to Decisions: How AI Transforms Cross-Industry Practices.

Prof. Huiyu Zhou from the University of Leicester, UK, delivered a speech on Training-free Visual Concept Prompt Learning for Open-set Language Grounded Segmentation.

Prof. Dimitrios A. Karras from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece, introduced On Efficient Modelling and Operationalization of a Reliable Framework for Responsible and Ethical AI in Digital Transformation, Automation and Sustainability: Recent Advancements and Challenges.

Prof. Attila Vidacs from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, Hungary, delivered a speech on The Role of AI in Edge-Assisted Robotics.

Prof. Simon X. Yang, Fellow of the Canada Academy of Engineering, Professor of the University of Guelph, Canada, delivered a speech on From Biological Inspiration to Intelligent Robots.

Prof. Siddhartha Bhattacharyya from the VSB Technical University of Ostrava, Czech Republic, introduced Multilevel Quantum Metaheuristics: Applications to Automatic Clustering.

Dr. Ming Chen, Senior Researcher in the Department of Clinical Microbiology at the Royal Hospital of Denmark, Denmark, delivered a speech on Artificial Intelligence Empowers Clinical Microbiology Testing: Practical Breakthroughs and Future Prospects.

Prof. Md Abdus Samad KAMAL from the Gunma University, Japan, delivered a speech on Towards Cooperative Intersection Management for Efficient Human-automated Vehicle Integration.

Prof. Xiaodong Liu from the Edinburgh Napier University, UK, delivered a speech on Challenges in the Next Generation of IoT-based Smart Systems and a Case Study.

Dr. Yingbo Li, Chief Technology Officer of the BilliMD, USA, delivered a speech on Graph Neural Network and its industrial innovation.

Prof. Zhibin Jiang from the Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China, delivered a keynote speech on Large Language Model (LLM) in Logistics and Supply Chain (L&sc): Application, Challenge and LLM Enabled Automated Modeling Framework.

The 14 speeches collectively covered multiple critical dimensions of Artificial Intelligence, ranging from theoretical breakthroughs to industrial implementation, thereby fully demonstrating the extensive influence and innovative vitality of AI technologies in promoting synergistic development between global scientific research and industrial advancement.

During the conference, multiple scholars presented their latest research results in artificial intelligence and advanced manufacturing through academic posters and oral presentations.
